We Eat Vomit

Today me and my brother played Bean Boozled, the Jelly Belly game that ruins your palate.

There are 10 good flavors and 10 bad flavors in each box. If your lucky, you'll get a tasty pear or a zesty coconut flavor. If you're not, you'll be rinsing the taste of moldy cheese out of your mouth while trying not to throw up* your dinner.

*By the way, there is actually a barf flavor, so keep that in mind.

Me and my brother sat on my bed while i dished out  the beans on my bed. I told him to write in the "Good" column in the bean was regular, and the "Rotten" column if the bean was nasty.

I have to say, the worst "bad" flavors are:

1. Moldy Cheese
2. Rotten Egg
3. Barf

Yep. They actually have a moldy cheese flavored-jelly bean. People are strange.

I took some to school. Kids are spastic. One threw one at me. When I told my friend to hand it to another boy, the kid slapped the bean upward out of Alex's hand.

Don't waste my jellybeans, kid.

How to Prime Factorize

Example 1

Take 45, for example. It's not prime, where it's only factors are itself and 1. It's composite.

To prime factorize 45, think about what multiplies 45.

9 and 5.

Now, simplify those.

5 is prime, but 9 is 3 x 3. You can make a factor tree.

45
^
5 x 9
      ^
       3 x 3

45 = 5 x 3 x 3

Example 2

How about 26/56?

Ooh, fractions.

There are actually two ways to do this problem.

You can divide down, or prime factorize.

Let's prime factorize. Find and simplify factors of 26, and do the same to 56.

26 = 2 x 13
56    7 x 2 x 2 x 2

Now, cross out numbers in common. There is a two on the top, and a two on the bottom, so cross it out.

26 = 2 x 13
56    7 x 2 x 2 x 2

Now you are left with a 13 on the top, and a 7 and a 4 on the bottom.

You have:

13
28

Party 'cuz you're DONE!

How To Simplify a Radical - Steps

Solve √200

x = multiplication

1. Prime Factorize

√(2 x 5 x 2 x 2 x 5)

2. Find common numbers. Square them.

3. Solve

After squaring, multiply 2 and 5 together, as they are the

square roots of 4 and 25. You cannot square 2, so:

√200 = 10√2

This problem is SOLVED!
