For all of you math lovers out there, it's Pi Day, a day to celebrate math, and, well, PIE!
For all of those who don't know what Pi is(mathematical term), it is a never-ending number. Pi = 3.14159265358....
It just keeps going. On Pi Day, many people have contests to see how many digits of Pi they can remember. I can usually remember the first 5. How many can you remember? List them in the comments!
But Pi Day isn't all about math. It's about PIE!!!!!!!!
Grandma's Peach Cobbler Pie
1 can of sliced peaches
large mixing bowl
teaspoon
sugar
vanilla
butter
large spoon
flaky pie crust
oven
dough
tin
Dump peaches in bowl. Dump sugar in bowl. Add water. Stir until thick. Pour into flaky pie crust. Bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Get a pot and start cooking. Put in a cup of butter, a teaspoon of sugar and vanilla. Let it cook and put in the peaches, cinnamon, and nutmeg(pinch). Make dough. Knead it and use a tin to shape it. Use a knife to slice holes in the bottom. Put in oven for 15 minutes. When peaches are done, pour them in, layer more dough on top, slice holes in, and put the crust back in until golden brown.
